Established in 2003, founder & Managing Director Lloyd Downes began the company with no more than a borrowed spade & lawn mower. While training for his qualification to become the best gardener he could be, he sacrificed lunch breaks, evenings, weekends & holidays into gaining practical experience in clients gardens. Many of the company’s client list today are those who supported Lloyd 18 years ago. Their continuing support is a testement to the level of client service, and work standard Lloyd and his team continue to uphold. Lloyd went back into training to add tree services to his bow gaining his city & guilds qualifications and Lantra awards. the business has grown over the years and Lloyd Downes Co. now employs four members of staff taking enthusastic enegertic youngster and sharing his passion for both gardening & tree surgery to make professional and dedicated members of his team.
